Ominira Initiative, in collaboration with the Initiative for African Trade of Prosperity, is excited to announce an essay writing competition for Nigerian undergraduates. The competition, themed “Entrepreneurship and Democracy as a Catalyst for a Prosperous Nigeria,” invites young scholars to explore and articulate their views on the interplay between entrepreneurship and democratic governance in fostering national prosperity.
The competition boasts attractive prizes for the top entries. The first-place winner will receive ₦120,000, the second-place winner ₦100,000, and the third-place winner ₦80,000. Additionally, consolation prizes will be awarded to the fourth and fifth place participants.
Eligibility for the competition is open to all undergraduates in any Nigerian higher institution who are below 30 years. Essays must be a maximum of 800 words, submitted in PDF format, and each participant is limited to a single submission.
