The CTC Chairman, Okrika Local Government Council, Hon. Princess Ogan has taken up the rehabilitation of the old, long abandoned Okrika Water scheme situated in Ogoloma.
According to the council, the CTC boss took up the challenge to ameliorate the problem of lack of portable water for residents of the area.
It said the Water scheme that supplies water to the entire Okrika Island had since been abandoned for years, adding that Okrika will further have a sigh of relief of water distribution at the completion of the project.
