The rehabilitation of the Ogan Ama Water Scheme in Okrika Local Government Area, has been completed by Caretaker Committee Chairman of the council, Hon. Princess Ogan after it was abandoned for years.
The council boss in a statement said, rehabilitating the water scheme is part of an ongoing plan to ensure access to good water by the people of the area.
According to her, she is fulfilling the directive of the state governor Siminalayi Fubara, to ensure they better the lives of the people and also empower them, adding that more programmes and activities are underway.
“We will still carry out more programmes and policies for our people. They deserve good things, and we will never disappoint them,” she said.
