The World’s leading voice in entrepreneurial success, Fobres has named Nigeria’s former Finance Minister, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala its 2020 Africa Person of the Year.
Forbes made the announcement in a tweet on its official Twitter handle yesterday.
“The 2020 #AfricanOftheYear Award honoree is…Congratulations to Dr. @NOlweala! Board Chair @Gavi; Board Chair @ARCapicity, gracing the cover of @forbesafrica,” Fobres said.
After the announcement an excited Okonjo Iweala in a statement yesterday said, “Thrilled to be named Forbes Africa-CNBC ‘2020 African of the Year’ following in the footsteps of my great brothers Paul Kagame and Akin Adesina.”
