Acting Rivers APC Chairman, Tony Okocha has threatened legal action against Gov. Sim Fubara to ensure adherence to constitutional processes and agreements to ensure stability and progress.
Okocha in a statement accused the governor of going against constitutional processes.
According to him, the Fubara has gone against the agreement reached with the president and is currently running the state without a budget amongst others.
He stated that the state was sitting on a keg on gunpowder if things continue the way they are.
Okocha, accused Fubara of lacking a political background, adding that Wike sat sat on noses of politicians and brought him to power.
“The governor was not a politician but a career civil servant, but Wike sat on the noses of politicians and threw up Fubara who lacked political background,” he said.
“Nobody gives power for nothing without negotiating for something; Fubara has reneged on agreements reached in the bedroom,” he added.
