Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party in Rivers State, Sen. Magnus Abe has described Tony Okocha as his state party (APC) chairman.
Abe, made this known in a statement when he attended Okocha’s thanksgiving ceremony for his appointment as Rivers NDDC Board Reresentative and APC Caretaker Chairman, in Port Harcourt at the weekend.
He also stated that he was not retiring from politics anytime soon, and called for support for the Tinubu administration.
Recall that Abe and Okocha were once political allies in the APC before Abe left to pursue his governorship ambition in the SDP. He lost the election and had since returned to the party.
