APC chieftain,Ojukaye Flag Amachree has reacted to the statement by the Governor of Rivers State Nyesom Wike, that the state government will not hesitate to reinstate criminal proceedings against him if he continues to undermine the peace in the state.
Governor Wike made this known during a state-wide broadcast yesterday in Port Harcourt.
Amachree and some others had yesterday taken to the streets of Port Harcourt to protest and call for the end of #EndSARS protests by youths across the country, since the unit has been disbanded by the government.
Amachree in a swift response said the constitution of the country grants him the right as a Nigerian to protest and associate peacefully.
Ojukaye wondered why he was been singled out of the over fifteen thousand persons that embarked on the peaceful protest yesterday.
