Shell Petroleum Development Company, (SPDC), has agreed to pay some communities in Ogoni, Rivers State, the sum of N45.9 billion for oil spill in their respective communities.
A law Court had ordered the Oil giant to pay the affected communities the said amount.
Counsel to Shell, A.O Elejamo disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday.
