The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike says the popular Oil Mill Market would soon be reopened.
Wike, disclosed this during the swearing in of the newly elected 23 LGA Chairmen of the State, on Thursday.
The Market, was shutdown few months ago after traders were accused of disobeying the lockdown directive of the government due to the outbreak of COVID-19.
The governor, also charged the chairmen to stay in their LGAs and deliver the dividends of democracy to their people.
He charged them to ensure the security of lives and properties, as it is the primary responsibility of government.
