Ogun State Police have declared popular singer Habeeb Olalomi, known as Portable, wanted for allegedly leading a violent attack on government officials performing their lawful duties.
The announcement was made in a police gazette issued on Monday night and confirmed by Omolola Odutola, the spokesperson for the State Police Command.
According to the statement, the incident occurred on February 5, 2025, at around 10:00 a.m. when three officials from the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development, Ota Zonal Office—identified as TPL Onabanjo Abidemi, TPL Raymond Lateef, and TPL Ridwan Oyero Akinlesi—were conducting an enforcement operation at Oke-Osa, Tigbo Ilu Ota.
She said the officials reportedly encountered an elderly man, later identified as Portable’s father, at Odogwu Bar, a property linked to the singer, during the exercise.
