A group known as the Ogoni Young Progressives Leaders Forum, has warned that it will no longer allow anyone no matter how highly placed, truncate the growth of young politicians in Ogoni land.
The group, in a statement by its Convener Dae Steven Deegbara on Tuesday, accused Sen. Magnus Abe of misleading and deceiving youths of the party to early retirement from politics.
He also accused Abe of being behind the crises rocking the party in the state, despite efforts by stakeholders to reconcile all aggrieved members.
OYPLF, berated Abe for alleging that the Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi was behind the attack on his supporters in ONELGA, few days ago. Describing it as a plot to throw the party into another round of crises.
The group, said despite claims by Abe that he has accepted the ruling of the Supreme Court which recognized Isaac Ogbobula as leader of Rivers APC, he still holds factional meetings without the knowledge of the party.
The forum advised him to stop such calculated attempts aimed at disrupting the peace being witnessed in the party, and submit to the leadership of Ogbobula and his team.
