The chairman, caretaker committee of Obio Akpor local government area Ambassador Chijioke Ihunwo has told his political appointees that they must be 100 per cent loyal to Gov. Sim Fubara.

Ihunwo issued the advice while swearing in principal officers of the council and other aides Today.

He urged the political appointees to see their nomination and subsequent swearing -in as an opportunity to contribute their quota to the development of the LGA and not a time to play around.

“Those who have been appointed today,it’s not because you’re the best but grace found you, let’s work together as a team and put our local government first in all our actions, you must also justify why we are paying you as a council by coming up with innovations and ideas on how to grow our LGA.Note, we will not condone recalcitrant aides who intend to put our eyes off the balls so if you know you are not prepared for the task ahead, better resign now,” he said.
