The recent donation of three transformers to some communities in Obio/Akpor by the Caretaker Committee Chairman of the council, Chijioke Ihunwo has sparked mixed reactions among Rivers people.
As you may know, the Obio/Akpor council boss fews days ago presented transformers to Rumueme, Rumuekini and Rukpokwu communities in the area.
In a statement on his official Facebook page, Ihunwo said his intention is to light up all communities in the council, in order to boost small and medium scale businesses.
While some Rivers people commended him for the gesture, others seem not to be impressed by the act. They shared their opinion in the comment section of the report by Elanhub on Facebook.
