The Caretaker Committee Chairman of Obio-Akpor local government area of Rivers State, Amb Ihunwo Chijioke has presented cash gifts to some mothers and widows in the seventeen wards of Obio-Akpor local government
The CTC Chairman, during the presentation said the money in the coffers of Obio-Akpor belongs to the people, and his duty is to use it for their benefit.
He commended Gov Sim Fubara for giving him the opportunity to serve at this time, and called on the people to continue to support and pray for the governor.
He emphasized that this is the first phase of the empowerment, and second phase will come up by next week.
