The Caretaker Committee Chairman of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area, Hon. Chijioke Ihunwo has approved the sum of ten million naira as grant for students of the area in Law School.
Ihunwo, who disclosed this in a statement on Friday, said his administration is setting a standard, inline with the vision of Gov Sim Fubara.
He said, “As the Caretaker Chairman of Obio-Akpor local government area of Rivers State, I have approved ten million naira grant, for Obio-Akpor law school students.
It is a major milestone in educational support, as the law students can focus on their studies knowing that their fees have been settled.
My administration is setting a standard, inline with the vision of His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara the Executive Governor of Rivers State, for educational support in the State.
I have emphasized that educational support is paramount in my administration, my commitment to that is unwavering, as demonstrated in this financial support.
