Chairman of Obio/Akpor Local Government Council, Amb. Chijioke Ihunwo has constituted and inaugurated a staff verification committee to ascertain the number of staff of the Council.
Members of the staff verification committee are:
1. Dr. Promise Ezihio Ogele – Chairman.
2. Barr. Abigail Chiorlu-Ejukwa – Secretary.
3. Mr. Atey Better – Rep. Local Government Service Commission.
4. Dr. Nwolu Precious Tomba – External Auditor.
5. Mr. Amadi Jubril Izubunka – Member.
6. Dr. Okala Bright – Member.
7. Mr. Samuel Ndubuisi Nkakini – Member.
8. Dr. Fortune Isi – Member.
9. Dr. Mrs. Patience Livingstone – Member.
10. Dr. Mrs. Victoria Omunakwe – Member.
11. Mrs. Blessing Dugbor – Member
Ihunwo stated that the exercise is key as it will help them have a comprehensive database of those working in the council, streamline operations, eliminate inefficiencies, promote accountability and carry out projects in the local government.
