Chairman of Obio Akpor Local Government Area, Chijioke Ihunwo has announced that a Police station will be built at the site of a collapsed building, at the Egbelu Mbaraja axis of Ogbogoro Community.
Ihunwo made this known in a statement after he visited the site on Tuesday.
He said, “I have announced that a police station will be built at the site of a collapsed building, at the Egbelu Mbaraja axis of Ogbogoro Community.
“I disclosed this during an on the spot inspection of the collapsed building on Tuesday.
“I explained that the decision to build a police station at the site is to provide security to the people of the community.
“I told journalists that the decision followed talks with the State Commissioner for Ministry of Urban Development, Hon. Evans Bipi.
“The building collapsed which occurred on Monday claimed one life with another victim reportedly in a critical condition after sustaining severe injuries.
