The Oba of Benin, Oba Ewuare II has hailed Governor Nyesom Wike for his leadership style and qualities and for rescuing former Acting MD of the NDDC, Dr. Joi Nunieh from armed mobile police officers.
The Oba made this known yesterday when Gov. Wike, governors and chieftains of the PDP who were in the state to flag off the campaign of Governor Godwin Obaseki paid him a courtesy visit.
He equally thanked Wike for his hospitality when he visited him in January 2020, at Government House Port Harcourt.
Wike in his remark commended the Oba for his efforts in ensuring peace in Edo State. He urged all sons and daughters of Edo to come out in their numbers and cast their votes for Governor Obaseki of the PDP.
