The Rivers State Government has handed over scholarship cheques to the last batch of indigenes who are beneficiaries of the NYSC presidential award.
The governor who was represented by the Secretary to the State government, Dr. Tammy Danagogo during the ceremony called on youths of the state to engage in entrepreneurial skills that will add value to the society.
He said the cheques will enable beneficiaries travel to any part of the world to further their education.
The recipients in their remarks thanked the state government for the kind gesture while promising to make the state proud.
