The Honourable Commissioner for Works, Prof. Temple Nwofor, on Thursday conducted a site inspection of sections of the Port Harcourt Ring Road Project.
During the visit on April 2, 2026, the Commissioner expressed satisfaction with the quality of work carried out so far, commending the contractor for maintaining high construction standards.
Prof. Nwofor, however, urged the contractor to accelerate the pace of work to ensure the project is delivered within the stipulated timeline. He emphasized the importance of meeting the October 2026 handover deadline, in line with the commitment made to the Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Joseph Fubara.
The Port Harcourt Ring Road Project is considered a critical infrastructure development aimed at improving transportation and boosting economic activities within the state.
