Former Chairman of Ikwerre Local Government Council, Hon. Samuel Nwanosike has accused Gov. Sim Fubara and his Chief of Staff, Edison Ehie of hiring thugs from the creeks to attack local government councils across the state.
Speaking, when he arrived at the Council Secretariat this morning, Nwanosike accused the governor of plunging the state into crisis.
According to him, thugs sponsored by the Governor, have been going round the councils attacking council chairmen and destroying council properties.
He called on President Bola Tinubu to ensure the rule of law is obeyed in the state, adding that they will wait for the ruling of the Court of Appeal before taking necessary measures.
