The Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers, NUPENG, has threatened to shutdown operations of Indorama Eleme Petrochemicals in Rivers State over alleged anti-abour practices.
Prince William Akpreha, and Afolabi Olawale, National President and General Secretary of NUPENG made this known in a statement at the weekend.
They accused the management of Eleme petrochemicals of unlawfully setting one union against another in its unscrupulous pursuit of perpetually enslaving Nigerians working for them.
The management of the company is yet to react to the threat by NUPENG.
