The National Union of Etche Students (NUES) has honoured Hon. Kelechi Nwogu, the representative of Omuma LGA in in the Rivers State House Assembly.
NUES gave Hon. Nwogu an award of excellence for effective representation and well his role in seeking justice against the convicted serial killer, Gracious David-West.
Nwogu made this known in a statement on his social media handle after receiving the award from the student body yesterday in Port Harcourt.
He said, “I so much cherish this recognition because it is coming from my own ethnic nationality, I give credence to anything that has to do with my people.”
“Thank you NUES, I will never forget this. It is going to spur me to do more, Etche chika ooo.. kanka ooo,” he added.
He commended the student body for finding him worthy of such honour as he promised to do more. He urged the students to take their studies more seriously and be good ambassadors of Etche and the state at large.
