The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC in Rivers State says it will synergize with the Police to rid the state of criminals.
State commandant, Basil Igwebueze, disclosed this in a statement by the command’s Public Relations Officer, Olumide Ayodele.
This was during the visit of the Rivers state Commissioner of Police, Nwonyi Polycarp-Emeka, to the NSCDC Command Headquarters in Port Harcourt on Friday.
The CP expressed the command’s readiness to strengthen collaboration with the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) to combat crime.
According to him, a holistic approach to security through prompt intelligence sharing and formidable inter-agency collaborations will enhance effective service delivery, especially in the fulfilment of the statutory mandate of every security outfit.
