Nineteen suspected illegal oil refiners have been arrested by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp in Rivers State.
NSCDC commandant, Michael Ogah told journalists in Port Harcourt, today that the suspects were arrested in different parts of the state.
He said the arrest is in support of the fight against illegal oil refining in the state by Governor, Nyesom Wike, and that the successes recorded in the fight have restored confidence in the people.
The command few days ago joined other commands to reconstitute its Anti-vandal Squad with two gunboats to boost its fight against oil theft and vandalism in the state.
