Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara says there is no going back on the conduct of the Oct. 5th Local Government Elections in the state.

The governor, who made this known while welcoming scores of defectors into the PDP in Iguruta, Ikwerre Local Government Area on Sunday, said preparations were on to conduct the poll.

He urged Rivers people to work at the units and ward levels and ignore those kicking against the forth coming Local Government Elections.

He assured the defectors of equal opportunities in the party, while urging them to be firm and patient with his administration.
