The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC), says it uncovered and deactivated over 72 illegal crude oil refining sites in one week in Rivers, Abia and Delta states.
The Company disclosed in a statement on Wednesday.
It also revealed that the sites have been destroyed and that about 42 suspects were arrested for further investigation.
