The Supreme Court will today, deliver judgement on the appeal by the Federal Government against leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB Nnamdi Kanu’s discharge by the Court of Appeal few months ago.
The apex court will also rule on the cross-appeal of Kanu’s lawyers against the stay of the execution of the discharge.
Aloy Ejimakor, the Special Counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, who made this known in a statement, expressed optimism that justice will prevail at the Supreme Court today.
Ejimakor disclosed this after his meeting with Kanu at the Department of State Services facility in Abuja on Thursday.
Ejimakor in a post on X wrote: “UPDATE: Today, my dedicated colleagues Barr Mandela, Barr Nnaemeka, and Prince Emmanuel (FineBoy) met with Onyendu #MNK.
“Among the many topical issues discussed, December 15th (tomorrow) stood out as preeminent. MNK hopes that come tomorrow, justice shall prevail against injustice.”
