The Nigeria Labour Congress says it would engage in a nation wide industrial action from September 28 if the Federal Government fails to reverse the increase in the price of petroleum products and electricity tariff.
The President of the NLC, Ayuba Wabba made this known in a statement yesterday after a meeting of the Union’s Central Working Committee in Abuja, yesterday.
After the meeting, Wabba said “the central Working Committee has resolved to issue a two-weeks ultimatum to the federal government to reverse its decision or face industrial action and peaceful assembly.”
