The President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Ayuba Wabba has alleged that the Rivers State Government has recruited thugs to unleash mayhem on workers during their planned protest in the state on Tuesday.

Wabba in a chat with Journalists yesterday said they are not aware of any court injunction stopping the proposed protest. He also said no judge or court has the right to stop the peaceful protest of the union as there is no going back on the protest.

He furthermore noted that the organised labour are not embarking on a strike but a peaceful protest.
