The Nigeria Labour Congress has rejected the re-election of Julius Abure as National Chairman of Labour party describing it as a nullity.
Benson Upah, spokesperson of the congress in a statement shortly after Abure’s re-election yesterday described the congress as a charade.
According to him, the congress will never back the party under the leadership of Abure.
“It’s an illegality, a nullity. The whole exercise was a charade! Nothing can legitimise such brazen impunity,” he said.
