The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Research and Development (NIPRD) has announced that Madagascar’s herbal drink ‘COVID Organics’ cannot effectively cure coronavirus as claimed.
The NIPRD made this known in a statement on Sunday. It said the drug contains Artemisia annua which reduces the frequency of cough with maximum dose but cannot cure the dreaded COVID-19.
The drink was acquired by the Nigerian Government for analysis after the Madagascar government had claimed that it has been successfully proven to cure the dreaded coronavirus.
