Nine students of Community Secondary School, Ogbogoro in Rivers State have been crushed to death by a truck conveying chippings to a construction site.
According to Vanguard, the tragic incident happened at Ogbogoro Community in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of the state on Friday.
The nine students were returning from school in a tricycle also known as Keke Napep when it rammed into the heavy duty truck.
Three of the students died on the spot while six others later died at the hospital.
Efforts to reach management of the school and the state Police Command have not been successful.
