Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama has tested positive to the dreaded COVID-19, adding him to the list of prominent leaders who had tested positive for the virus.
The minister made this known on his Twitter handle Today, confirming that he had tested negative on different occasions.
Onyeama who stated that he is heading to an isolation centre now said, the fourth test became necessary after experiencing a throat irritation.
“Did my fourth Covid-19 test yesterday at the first sign of a throat irritation and unfortunately this time it came back positive. That is life! Win some lose some. Heading for isolation in a health facility and praying for the best.”
