The Nigerian Navy has published the list of candidates shortlisted for the Basic Training School (NNBTS) Batch 38 interview following the recruitment examination conducted on November 29, 2025.

According to a statement signed by the Navy, candidates whose names appear on the official recruitment portal are those who were successful in the examination and are invited to attend the interview exercise, which will be held from January 10 to February 21, 2026.

The interview will be conducted concurrently at two centres — the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) Old Site, Kaduna, and the Nigerian Navy Basic Training School, Onne, Rivers State — based on candidates’ geopolitical zones.

Candidates from the North West, North Central and North East geopolitical zones are to attend their interviews at the NDA Old Site in Kaduna, while those from the South West, South South and South East zones will be interviewed at the NNBTS, Onne.

The interview schedule is as follows: North West candidates will attend the interview at the NDA Old Site, Kaduna, from January 10 to 23, 2026; North Central candidates from January 24 to February 6, 2026; and North East candidates from February 7 to 20, 2026.

For the southern zones, South South candidates are scheduled for interviews at the NNBTS, Onne, from January 10 to 23, 2026; South East candidates from January 24 to February 6, 2026; while South West candidates will be interviewed from February 7 to 20, 2026.

The Nigerian Navy advised all shortlisted candidates to check the official recruitment portal for their names and further instructions ahead of the interview exercise.
