Nigerian Navy Publishes Shortlist for Basic Training School Batch 38 Interview

The Nigerian Navy has published the list of shortlisted candidates for the Nigerian Navy Basic Training School (NNBTS) Batch 38 interview.

According to an official statement, candidates whose names appear on the Nigerian Navy recruitment portal were successful in the Batch 38 Recruitment Examination conducted on November 29, 2025. The shortlisted applicants have been invited to participate in an interview scheduled to hold from January 10 to February 21, 2026.

The interview will take place concurrently at two centres: the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) Old Site, Kaduna, and the Nigerian Navy Basic Training School, Onne, Rivers State.

Candidates from the North West, North Central, and North East geopolitical zones are to attend their interview at the NDA Old Site in Kaduna. Meanwhile, candidates from the South West, South South, and South East zones are to report to the NNBTS in Onne, Rivers State.

The interview schedule is as follows:

North West: NDA Old Site, Kaduna — January 10 to January 23, 2026

North Central: NDA Old Site, Kaduna — January 24 to February 6, 2026

North East: NDA Old Site, Kaduna — February 7 to February 20, 2026

South South: NNBTS Onne, Rivers State — January 10 to January 23, 2026

South East: NNBTS Onne, Rivers State — January 24 to February 6, 2026

South West: NNBTS Onne, Rivers State — February 7 to February 20, 2026

The Nigerian Navy advised all shortlisted candidates to adhere strictly to their assigned dates and venues for the interview.

The announcement was signed by the Navy Secretary.
