The Federal Government of Nigeria, says the United Kingdom is set to return 4.2 million pounds loot to Nigeria.
Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Mr Abubakar Malami, disclosed this in a statement on Monday.
Malami said Nigeria, was in touch with the government of the United Kingdom on the matter, and that they are working tirelessly to ensure the return of looted Nigerian assets.
Malami also said they are hopeful that in two weeks time, the country will receive the money but they are not in control of the banks.
He stated that documentations with banks in different countries often take longer than anticipated.
