Rivers State recorded 32 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 4,876 with, 4,001 discharged and 78 deaths.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its Twitter handle, during its daily update of COVID-19.

In total, Nigeria recorded 964 new cases, being its highest daily figure. Lagos state recorded the highest number with – 360 FCT-88 Ogun-73 Imo-72 Kaduna-67 Plateau-57 Abia-41 Osun-41 Rivers-32 Kano-26 Niger-24 Benue-23 Edo-20 Cross River-20 Akwa Ibom-8 Nasarawa-6 Zamfara-6 Ekiti-6 Jigawa-4 121,566 confirmed 97,228 discharged 1,504 deaths.

This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 121,566 with 97,228 recovered patients, and 1,504 deaths.

The Commission has urged anyone showing symptoms associated with #COVID19, to self-isolate & take steps to get tested.
