Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, has assured Nigerians that they will enjoy uninterrupted electricity supply before the end of President Bola Tinubu’s administration in 2027.
Adelabu gave the assurance on Saturday during the commissioning of the Kwaru 1x15MVA 33/11KV injection substation in the Ikotun-Egbe area of Lagos State.
He said the Federal Government is adopting a multi-faceted strategy to tackle challenges in electricity generation, transmission, and distribution.
According to him, the Tinubu administration, under the Renewed Hope Agenda, recognises energy as a critical driver of economic growth and employment.
“Nigerians can be assured of the President’s determination to ensure that citizens enjoy full and uninterrupted electricity supply before he leaves office,” Adelabu stated.
