Nicki Minaj Raises Concern Over Attacks on Nigerian Christians During UN VisitAmerican rapper Nicki Minaj on Tuesday visited the United Nations headquarters, where she voiced strong concern about the plight of Christians in Nigeria, saying they are “being targeted, driven from their homes, and killed.”
Minaj was at the UN at the invitation of Mike Waltz, the United States ambassador to the global body, for what officials described as an in-depth discussion on efforts by the U.S. administration to protect Christian communities worldwide.
During the visit, Minaj expressed gratitude to U.S. President Donald Trump for “prioritising this issue,” noting that Washington has been pushing for international action to safeguard Christians in Nigeria, curb extremism, and end violence against people seeking to freely practise their faith.
