The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has dismissed reports suggesting that Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi will miss the final of the 2026 World Cup African playoffs against DR Congo due to yellow card accumulation.
In a statement on Friday, the NFF clarified that Ndidi remains eligible for selection and has not been suspended for the crucial fixture.
The Leicester City star was one of Nigeria’s standout performers in the team’s 4–1 win over Gabon in the semi-final on Thursday, fueling concerns among fans after rumours of his supposed unavailability surfaced.
