The All Progressive Congress in Rivers State has congratulated the former minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi on his conferment with the Achiever On Infrastructure Man of Year Award by President Buhari on October 21st.
The state chairman of Rivers APC, Chief. Emeka Beke described it as a worthy and well deserved recognition.
“The award, has proven to the world, that you are a man with a gold heart who sees your official position as to be use to better the lives of Nigerians and not to amass material wealth.” he said.
“We are not surprised, because the same thing you did when you were the governor of Rivers State, you have replicated it as the former Minister for Transportation. You are a good man indeed and your kind gesture, will ever remain green in the history of Nigeria,” he added.
At the Nigerian Excellence Award in Public Service (NEAPS) yesterday, Rotimi Ameachi was among some notable Nigerians conferred with special awards by the Federal Government.
NEAPS was set up to recognize distinguished public officials who have done well in various sectors at the national, state or local level.
Rt Hon Chibuike Amaechi CON was represented by Senator Nurudeen Abatemi.
