The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, in Rivers State says 90 drug offenders were convicted in the state between January to September 2023 out of 210 suspects arrested.
The agency in a statement said it also seized over 300kilograms of illicit drugs within the period.
It said cocaine, heroine, Indian hemp, tramadol amongst others were seized, adding that indian hemp is the most abused drug.
The Agency also said the convicts are serving various jail term in prisons and warned illicit drug users to desist from the act.
