The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has pledged to collaborate with Care365 Health Hub to enhance healthcare delivery across the Niger Delta region.
Managing Director of the Commission, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, made the commitment during the launch of Care365 Health Hub’s new healthcare innovation at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja.
The event, chaired by former President Olusegun Obasanjo, was attended by former President Goodluck Jonathan, Chairman of Care365 Hub, General Abdulsalami Abubakar (Rtd), and the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Professor Muhammad Ali Pate, who officially unveiled the Care365 system.
Dr. Ogbuku noted that the Commission’s medical outreach programmes had continued to provide essential services to underserved communities in the region. He said the introduction of Care365’s technology would strengthen these interventions and improve healthcare access.
Emphasising the importance of health to economic prosperity, he added, “health is wealth, and wealth is health.”
