The Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC says the Oruma rigid pavement road connecting Bayelsa and Rivers States would be inaugurated by next month.
Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, said this during an inspection of the road few days ago.
He said the road when completed, would help people of the area, mostly farmers to evacuate their agricultural produce to the cities and towns for sale.
According to the MD, completion of the road project was part of efforts by the NDDC management to complete all on-going projects in the region.
