The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has announced plans to complete the Bonny Ring Road and Bridge project by the first quarter of 2027.
NDDC Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, disclosed this during an inspection tour of the 27.14-kilometre project, which includes 13 bridges and 26 kilometres of concrete-paved roadway. Dr. Ogbuku, accompanied by the Commission’s Executive Director of Projects, Sir Victor Antai, and other senior officials, visited the site despite heavy rainfall.
The project, a joint venture between the NDDC and the Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG), is aimed at boosting connectivity and economic development in Bonny Kingdom and the wider Niger Delta region.
