The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has officially launched a region-wide tree-planting campaign aimed at promoting ecological regeneration across the Niger Delta. The initiative was flagged off at the Commission’s state office in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Speaking during the event, the Director of Environmental Protection and Control, Engr. Obeka Onuoha, said the campaign is part of the Commission’s broader efforts to restore the region’s degraded environment and combat the effects of deforestation.
