The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has paid the tuition fees of students on its scholarship program.
Charles Odili, the Commission’s Director of Corporate Affairs who made this known in a chat with journalists today, said, the sum of $5.901m have been paid to 197 scholarship students.
President Muhammadu Buhari had few weeks ago, ordered the commission to pay the tuition fees of the students after the students staged a massive protest.
