Outspoken Niger Deltan and leader of the Niger Delta People’s Salvation Force, Alhaji Asari Dokubo has reacted to the crises rocking the NDDC and its on going probe.
Asari while commenting on the crises in a viral video said, the alleged mishandling of N81bn by the Prof. Pondei led Interim Management Committee (IMC) of the Commission is like pickpocketing, when compared to huge sum of tax payers money being stolen in Nigeria.
“We are talking about N81 billion being pick-pocketed from Niger Delta while the bulk of our money, our resources is being carted away and we are not talking,” he said.
“They want me to run after pickpocketers and leave armed robbers that are coming into my house. When they talk about Akpabio, tell them about Malami, when they talk about Joy, tell them about Sadiya, when they talk about any senator, tell them about Magu,” Asari asserted.
The IMC of the commission is currently being investigated over alleged financial misappropriation.
