Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godswill Akpabio has noted that 60 percent of contracts by the NDDC are awarded to National Assembly members.
Akpabio, made this know while appearing before the house of representatives investigative committee, investigating the financial misappropriation of funds at the commission in Abuja, yesterday.
“Most of the contracts at NDDC are handled by members of the National Assembly,” he asserted.
Akpabio, appeared before the committee after Acting Chairman of the NDDC, Pondei collapsed while answering questions from committee members.
